Become Involved in your school! Success for all our children depends on parent involvement. LIGON PTA offers innumerable opportunities for each of us to share our time and efforts in ways which benefit the school, and most importantly, the students. We have a lot of working parents (including many of the members of your PTA Board), so we know how precious your time can be and we know that you can't always find time during the day. If each parent or guardian at Ligon could find just an hour a month to volunteer, it would add up to almost 9000 hours of support for our school. There are over 20 PTA committees which need parental help to enrich the classroom, support the teachers and staff, improve the facilities and grounds and enhance the learning atmosphere at LIGON.
