PTA Membership and Phantom Fundraiser

Your support is needed to make this a successful and rewarding year. The PTA is the only organization at Ligon that benefits every child and every teacher.

The Phantom Fundraiser is the PTA's ONLY fund-raising effort during the year. This year, our Phantom goal is 100% participation . We need you to help us meet this goal! The money raised will provide the following services and support for Ligon, its teachers, staff, and your children:

  • Cultural arts
  • Student recognition
  • Ligon directory
  • Buildings and grounds
  • Sixth grade supply sale
  • Reflections
  • Parent programs
  • Mini-grants
  • Newsletters
  • Hospitality
  • Eighth grade events
  • Ligon Fest
  • Annual teacher/classroom allowance
  • Teacher and staff appreciation


PTA membership is $5 per parent.

For the Phantom Fundraiser, our suggested donation is $50 - $100 per student. We realize that not everyone can give that amount, just as we realize some can give more. Remember, our goal is 100% participation.
